How much does it cost to create a plan and work with you?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. No cost.
We get paid if we can find you the right investment property. If we do that, we get paid by the developer.
It’s a bit like how a mortgage broker gets paid by the bank when they organise your mortgage
But there are 3 costs of investing in property. They are:

Auckland $699K (2-Bed townhouse) - $1.1m (4-bed townhouse)
Christchurch $550k (2-bed townhouse) – $889K(4-bed townhouse)
#2 Set-up costs – How much money do I need to buy a property?
Lawyer $2,500 – $3,500
Accountant $0 – $2,000
Chattel Valuation – $500
#3 Cashflow – How much income do I need to pay to hold my investment property?
Investment properties have lots of costs. There’s your mortgage, rates, insurance, maintenance, a property manager and more.
If you buy a property today, the rent won’t cover all these costs (most of the time). This means you'll have to “top up” the shortfall out of your own pocket.
If you borrow all the money to invest, your top-up will likely be between $350 and $500 per week.
But your top-up will go down as interest rates fall (and the rent increases)

What actually happens at this session?

Use My Wealth Plan (our in-house software) to create a financial plan.Discuss which sort of properties you want to invest in.Decide when you want to buy your next property.
By the end, you'll walk away with a written Wealth Plan.

Will you share my financial details with others?

Accepted Answer

Never. Your data stays private. That's a promise.
We have special obligations because we are a registered Financial Advice Provider.
So, we take steps to protect your data. If you have any questions, talk to Vanessa (our Head of Compliance). She’ll walk you through the nitty gritty.

Question 4

Does my partner need to be there (even if I make all the financial decisions)?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you'll both need to be there. If you both can't make it, you're session will need to be rescheduled.
Here are the reasons why it's important for you both to be there.Reason #1 – Goals need to be aligned
Reason #2 – You'll be investing with joint assets 
Reason #3 – You don't have to explain it back to them
Reason #4 – You're partners questions will be answered
Reason #5 – You're more likely to invest if you're on the same page

Are these sessions online or face-to-face?

90% of these sessions are virtual on Zoom.
But if you're in Auckland or Christchurch and prefer to do it in person, we can make that happen.
